Tim and Alanna got married on a swelteringly hot summers day, in a beautiful backyard ceremony at Skennards Head with views across Sharpes Beach to Flat Rock, such a great location for wedding photographs. After the ceremony we visited a few locations en route to the reception at Beef and Beach, Lennox Head right across from the water.
Coming from working predominantly within the UK to being a Lennox Head wedding photographer the biggest difference I’ve noticed is that here in Australia you don’t have to be married in a licensed venue meaning you can have the ceremony anywhere at all, which opens up so many cool and unique opportunities for your wedding location. The guests all enjoying a cold beer or a glass of champagne whilst they watch the ceremony is a nice touch too.
